I spent the month of November and part of December in New Mexico and Arizona. One particular daytrip roaming the hills, mountains and byways of southwest New Mexico was particularly rewarding. It was a cold, windy day with intermitent rain. It seemed like it would be a dreary day. But rainbows kept appearing randomly throughout the day. It seemed magical. That’s one of the truly rewarding things about photography – capturing those fleeting moments.
